Line Pilot

I gained my Balloon License in England in 1982 and spent the next 6 years flying balloons in France and over the Maasai Mara from Little Governors’ Camp.

After an absence of 34 years pursuing a career as an Airline pilot I am very lucky to be back in the Mara flying Balloons again. Not much has changed, the balloons have got bigger but the park is the same, the game is prolific and it’s a fantastic privilege and a joy to fly over the Mara river every morning. This is definitely the best balloon flight in the world !
